Introduction
The SGRHS have established a number of sites within the Spencer Gulf region (known as Learning Centres) that are committed to providing students with high quality teaching and rural clinical experience. The SGRHS Learning Centres provide broad learning opportunities, quality teaching, quality student accommodation, transport options for students in the town, IT facilities and internet access, student support staff on-site, designated student study areas, and resources such as textbooks and rural health libraries.
Apart from its main base in Whyalla, the School also supports a number of Learning Centres throughout the region including Pt Augusta, Booleroo Centre, Pt Pirie, Minlaton, Maitland, Pt Lincoln, Clare, Kadina/Wallaroo, Barossa Valley and Mount Gambier.
